TALBOT HOUSE MINISTRIES WAS FOUNDED AS A PLACE OF HOPE FOR THE HUNGRY, THE HOMELESS, AND THE POOR. Talbot House has grown from humble beginnings into Polk County’s largest provider of services to adults experiencing homelessness. We are supported by a wide variety of faith-based partners from various denominations to meet the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of clients from all walks of life. I strongly believe in giving back to the place where you live. I have 2 main organizations that I work with in our community. Talbot House is one of our local homeless shelters, at Talbot House they help to provide the resources needed to house and help our local homeless population.
I also am a huge advocate for the Polk County Schools T.A.S.S.E.L. Program. This program works with our schools social workers to help provided much needed items for our local students and their families in need.
Polk County Schools T.A.S.S.E.L Project
T.A.S.S.E.L was created to assist Polk County students in overcoming barriers to attending school. This non profit organization provides everything from school supplies to clothes. Including personal products, shoes, household goods and they recently partnered with Feeding Tampa Bay to help provide food for the families of students in need.
